How the OKAPI VACUUM works
Self-adhesive labels on a roll, are applied onto irregular shaped items by means of a hand operated process. The label reel is mounted inside the machine body. The label web is passed over the edge of a peel blade where the label is separated from the backing paper. The label is dispensed onto a vacuum grid where it is accurately held in place by means of vacuum suction. The label is held with the adhesive side facing upwards. The object to be labeled is held manually in position, accurately guided by an adjustable indexing system. When in position, the object is pressed down and the self adhesive label sticks to it. The object is now labeled and is removed.
